About Gaia Hope Good

Evolutionary Astrologer, Teacher & Guide

I didn't come to astrology through a book or a course. I came to it through my life, through years of searching, losing my way, and slowly finding my way back. And when I finally found it, it wasn't just a system of symbols. It was a language I already knew.

I grew up in London, a deeply sensitive child in a world that felt too loud, too fast, and too small for what I was experiencing. I didn't have a map for any of it. At twenty-two, I left England with little more than a sense that something truer existed somewhere, and that I had to go and find it.

What followed was a decade of immersion that took me to India, Latin America, Guatemala, Brazil, Bali, and eventually to the Sacred Valley of Peru, where I now live. Along the way I sat with extraordinary teachers, trained in shamanic and plant medicine traditions, studied hermetic philosophy, alchemy, and the Kabbalah, and underwent the kind of initiations that no formal curriculum can offer. I also got very lost. I walked through illness, fear, and genuine darkness. I know what it is to have no framework for what is happening to you, to feel completely unmoored from yourself and your life.

It was in Bali, during a moment of unexpected stillness, that astrology found me. I received a reading from a student of Daniel Giamario, and something shifted. Not because of what was said, but because I realised, sitting there, that I already spoke this language. The chart was a map, and it was my map. For the first time, everything I had lived began to make coherent sense.

I started studying immediately. Charts for friends. Hours of reading. Deepening through practice and direct experience. What astrology gave me was not just understanding, it gave me ground. I could see the transits moving through my life with precision. I could understand the purpose inside the difficulty. It transformed how I related to my own story, and it became the steadiest guide I have ever found.

Over the years that followed, I trained formally with Steven Forrest, one of the founding voices of Evolutionary Astrology, and studied alongside Daniel Giamario, Judith Hill, and Sajah Popham. I completed a degree in psychology, 500 hours of yoga teacher training, and deep studies in Reiki, medical astrology, holistic herbalism, and the esoteric traditions. Alongside this, years of independent study, thousands of hours of chart work, and the ongoing practice of living this path have shaped the teaching I offer today.

I began teaching yoga teacher trainings at twenty-six and discovered something I hadn't expected: I love to teach. I have a gift for making complex things land, for feeling into what a group needs, and finding the story or the angle that opens it up. My students rarely describe their experience as simply learning astrology. More often they describe it as a kind of waking up, finally seeing themselves clearly, finally understanding why.

That is what I am here to offer.

I live high in the mountains of the Sacred Valley, in close relationship with nature, with the land, and with the invisible world that has always been my home. I am a highly sensitive person, and I have spent years learning to work with that, to stay grounded, regulated, and present while remaining genuinely open and attuned. This shapes everything about how I teach. My classes are alive, generous, and deeply personal. I bring my full self, not a curated version of wisdom, but the real thing, earned through lived experience, humility, and an honest commitment to my own continuing evolution.

I am not finished with astrology, and astrology is not finished with me. I am still studying, still deepening, still finding new layers in my own chart and in my own life. I think that is why students return. Not because I have all the answers, but because this work is clearly, unmistakably, everything to me.

My studies include training with Steven Forrest, Daniel Giamario, Judith Hill, and Sajah Popham, woven together with a BSc in Psychology, ERYT-500 yoga teacher training, Reiki Master certification, and over 5,000 hours of formal training across astrology, psychology, plant medicine traditions, and esoteric practice. I have taught for more than 7,000 hours across yoga, astrology, and transformational work.

A Lineage of Study

At the centre of my work is Evolutionary Astrology, studied with Steven Forrest, alongside the Shamanic Astrology of Daniel Giamario (TOTAMS). I studied medical astrology with Judith Hill and Sajah Popham as part of my training in holistic herbalism, and the Qabalah and Hermetic philosophy within the Del Ka lineage. This astrological foundation is woven together with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Leeds, eight years teaching yoga teacher trainings, and certification as a Reiki Master.

I name these teachers and traditions deliberately. Astrology is a lineage art, and I believe you deserve to know whose shoulders the work stands on.

A Path of Embodied Practice

Formal study is only part of the picture. Much of my understanding has been formed through long-term embodied practice, years of immersion with the Amazonian plant teachers, ceremonial work, the Karpay rites of the Q'ero of the Andes, dreamwork, and energy work.

These experiences taught me not only how to perceive subtle realms, but how to remain grounded, regulated, and discerning while doing so. That balance intuitive openness, held within steady ground, is at the heart of how I teach.

My Approach

My teaching style is clear, intuitive, compassionate, and deeply grounded. I'm interested in formation rather than performance: in helping you develop your own trustworthy relationship with the chart, rather than handing you fixed answers to memorise.

Whether through a personal reading or the immersive trainings at Evolutionary Astrology Academy, my intention is the same, to guide you into meaningful transformation and help you remember who you truly are.

My Mission

To help you read the map of your soul, trust your intuitive wisdom, and live in alignment with who you truly are.

The deepest and most transformational lens I’ve found for understanding purpose, healing patterns, and evolving with intention.

Why Evolutionary Astrology?

Evolutionary Astrology looks beyond personality traits and prediction. It reveals the deeper story of the soul, your purpose, your patterns, and the lessons you are here to integrate in this lifetime. It honours free will, soul growth, and the living intelligence of nature, offering a compassionate and empowering framework for understanding a life.

It is the foundation of everything I teach, because it supports the work I care most about: clarity, healing, empowerment, and alignment with the authentic self.

Reflections From My Students

"Meeting Gaia has been an absolute gift to my journey of life. I admire her so much as a woman and a teacher, and I can highly recommend studying with her.

Besides the fact that she is generally just one of the most lovely human beings, being with her in a virtual room while she is teaching is so magnetic. I feel like while she is teaching, she is an open channel to all the wisdom she has ever received.

She is gifted with a way of communicating what is relevant in every moment with such grace and depth. I literally felt at moments how her words were landing in my heart.

I have always been interested in astrology, but this past year, astrology has gifted me so much wisdom and guidance throughout a phase which was and still is deeply challenging. I feel like it has taken away the heaviness of feeling absolutely lost and brought me back to more trust and intuition.

Even if you don't want to give readings to others, it is a beautiful opportunity to meet yourself on such a different level. It is so much more than just learning astrology. It is actually studying yourself, your being, your soul's journey, and all the wisdom that comes with every challenge.

Studying with Gaia has pushed a profound change and transformation in my offerings, my work, and generally how I am able to navigate myself through life. Saying thank you is definitely not enough."
